The Sweetest Medicine

chapter-164
Fang Zhihan’s gaze darkened as he said in an ambiguous tone, “What you did was unforgettable.”
Yu Gangan felt her temples twitch. They twitched so rapidly that she felt her head ache.
She dug through her memories, trying her best to remember the unforgettable thing she had done.
Unfortunately, apart from the pain in her temples, she couldn’t remember a thing. Yu Gangan fell into a panic. As she bit her lips nervously, she asked, “Did I…do ‘that’ to you?”
What she was referring to was kissing, hugging and forcing him to stay by her side as she slept. But, as he watched Yu Gangan’s cheeks flush red, Fang Zhihan’s lips curved upwards and he replied, “You could say that…it may involve a life.”
There was a pause in his sentence, mimicking the way she spoke.
Except, her pause was because she was embarrassed, whereas, his pause was because he wanted to mess with her.
Yu Gangan was shocked.
It may involve a life? Did they create a life together after doing something physical? Yu Gangan touched her stomach. Although she had never experienced it before, she knew that her body would definitely leave some kind of trace if she had done it for the first time.
He was tricking her.
Fang Zhihan was deliberately messing with her.“You’re lying,” Yu Gangan said with slight anger.
Fang Zhihan’s lips pressed together into a thin line as though he was trying to suppress some emotions. He then said with seriousness, “If you don’t believe me, you should check the bathroom.”
Why did she have to go to the bathroom?
Yu Gangan froze for a while before she started wondering…was her first time in the bathroom? Was he telling her to go check the blood that was left behind?
Her cheeks felt hot and her brain burned; all the blood in her body was drawn from her body.
Pale-faced, she was in disbelief as her voice trembled, “Im-Impossible…Who knows what blood you found? Perhaps it’s blood from a duck or a chicken, or even blood from a cut finger.”
Fang Zhihan’s lips curved into a smile. He then asked curiously, “Blood?”
Yu Gangan’s cheeks turned completely red. She was extremely embarrassed but she tried her best to hide it, “If not blood, why did you tell me to go to the bathroom?”
Fang Zhihan said gently, “I wanted you to see how the clothes you vomited on are about to stink people to death.”
Yu Gangan froze, “Huh?”
Fang Zhihan leaned back calmly and contained his amusement, “You need to wash it clean.”
Yu Gangan blinked before she realized what was happening, “When you said I did something unforgettable and embarrassing that almost involved a life, were you referring to how I vomited on you?”
Fang Zhihan’s lips curved slightly as a trace of amusement appeared between his eyes, “What else, Little Pervert? What did you think I was telling you to see?”
Yu Gangan: “…”
Yu Gangan felt her cheeks heat up even more.
He deliberately misled her.
He was acting serious, but he was teasing her.
Yet, he was acting innocent.
He must have done something to mislead her as well the previous night to make her ask him if he liked her and whether it was love at first sight.
Fang Zhihan stood up.
Yu Gangan stared at the man’s back with slight anger as she rebuked, “Can’t you speak properly? Isn’t it normal to vomit when one is drunk? What do you mean it may involve a life? Didn’t you exaggerate too much? You’re such a bad person.”
Fang Zhihan paused and turned around to look at her, “Huh?”
As soon as Yu Gangan’s eyes met with the man, the anger in her face immediately faded and she said casually, “Nothing.”
But, she wasn’t surrendering.
She simply responded this way because she had vomited on the man and acted out of line to begin with.
