The Villain’s Mother

chapter-10
Chapter 10 – It wasn’t because Mr. Song felt possessive of his wife and wanted to monopolize her. It was simply because the married couple had a bad relationship. He didn’t want to talk about her or think about her. (1)
Although Little Song Shuyan had his own room, he didn’t sleep in it. If Mr. Song was home, he would sleep with his father. If his dad wasn’t home, the kid would sleep with the nanny. In short, he never slept together with his mom or by himself.
From this, Ruan Xia could draw the conclusion that other than the first night when Song Shuyan was conceived, Mr. Song and the novel’s Ruan Xia always slept in separate rooms, even after they were married. Ruan Xia speculated that the novel’s Ruan Xia must have exerted a lot of effort that night to get pregnant…
Back to the original point, based on the novel’s Ruan Xia’s memory, Mr. Song knew that she trapped him. So of course, he wouldn’t have a favorable impression of her. However, back then, the novel’s Ruan Xia had insisted on carrying the baby to term and giving birth. She demanded that he marry her, but she also said that they could continue to live separate lives. She didn’t care what he wanted to do in his free time. Anyways, the novel’s Ruan Xia had never wanted Mr. Song’s love. She just wanted to have an easy life where everything was provided for her.
Mr. Song probably found her baffling. Although he wasn’t willing to accept this type of marriage, he didn’t want his child to be born out of wedlock. And so, his only choice was to agree. They couldn’t be considered partners in life. At most, they were roommates. However, these two had managed to live together in harmony with everyone minding their own business for the past four years.
They never quarreled because there normally wasn’t even a chance for them to see each other and talk. The novel’s Ruan Xia wanted money and a lavish lifestyle. As for Mr. Song, he hadn’t been willing to accept this marriage from the start. He didn’t like the novel’s Ruan Xia and was happy to keep their contact at a minimum.
Actually, as long as both parties were willing, this type of marriage wasn’t that unacceptable.
“I want to sleep with mom tonight.” The young child tried to look as cute as possible. He was determined to stay here and not leave.
Truly, this young child was the type to “want a mile if you give him an inch”. Since his mother had treated him well today – she hugged him and kissed him, his long-term memory went out the window like a goldfish’s memory. He forgot how she had ignored him until today.
Ruan Xia was somewhat hesitant. She had started sleeping by herself since she was young. Even when she went on vacation with her friends, she would make sure to reserve enough rooms and beds so everyone had a bed to herself.
Song Shuyan saw Ruan Xia’s hesitation. He lied down on the bed, shut his eyes, and loudly declared, “I’m already asleep. Mom, don’t wake me up.”He was determined!
As a normal adult, although there were times when Ruan Xia found kids annoying, most of the time she would still continue to be patient with them nonetheless. Thinking of how pitiful this child was, her heart softened. She was extra patient with him. She pulled up the blanket to cover him. “Alright, go to sleep.”
Ruan Xia thought; playing with a young child could be counted as physical labor.
One moment, he would pull her over to play with wooden jigsaw blocks. The next moment, he wanted to play hide-and-seek, and on. After only one day, Ruan Xia was exhausted. She felt like an old dog.
This child really had exuberant energy. After lying down on the bed, the novel’s Ruan Xia drifted into a dream.
Once again, she dreamed about the novel’s Ruan Xia.
Looking haughty and indifferent, the novel’s Ruan Xia said to her, “I’m giving that man to you. That child also. Don’t think about going back to your world. Even if you go back, I’m not coming back here.”
Flabbergasted, Ruan Xia said, “They’re not my husband and child. Why should I take the family you’re abandoning?”
How ridiculously presumptuous!
