Chapter 60 – If mom has another kid, will she go back to before? (2)
It was a text message sent by Song Tingshen, who was in the adjoining room.
Yup, that’s right. They still hadn’t added each other to WeChat. If she told anyone this, they would definitely find it strange.
Song Tingshen: [Can you set aside half an hour on Monday morning? There’s something I want to discuss with you]
The tone of the message was so distant and businesslike. Fortunately, Ruan Xia didn’t care. She didn’t immediately reply to his text message either. For what reason would Song Tingshen want to discuss something with her at this juncture? They had nothing to say to each other, and there was nothing worth discussing between them.Ruan Xia’s eyes turned. In a flash, a potential topic occurred to her.
Could it be that he wanted to divorce her?
This wasn’t impossible. Otherwise, why would he specially send her a text message. If it was something related to Little Wang, he could just talk to her about it at home. There would be no need to be so formal and serious.
She felt as if she was slapped in the face. She previously assumed that a plastic couple wouldn’t get divorced and would maintain their superficial martial harmony.
However, if he wanted to divorce, she wouldn’t have any justification for refusing to divorce, right? The only reason she hadn’t thought about divorcing him was because she thought that her life would remain the same whether she was divorced or not. Besides, it was pretty awesome to comfortably live as a wife of a rich man, and she didn’t even need to perform any wifely obligations.
If he wanted to divorce her, it wouldn’t be a big deal to her. She had no feelings for him. Besides, based on her understanding of Song Tingshen, she believed that he would still treat her very well even if they divorced. After all, she was still the mother of his child. So, if they divorced, he would probably give her a lot of assets. Being a rich divorcee… that was pretty good too, right?
If he wanted to talk to her, she couldn’t refuse.Ruan Xia’s schedule was jammed packed lately. From Monday to Friday, she had one-on-one oral English lessons with a foreigner teacher to improve her English speaking skills. She also had baking classes to attend. Even so, this was a much easier workload than having a job. She thought it over. She could ask her foreigner teacher to postpone the starting time for her lesson by one hour.
Song Tingshen had thought Ruan Xia would already be asleep by now. But ten minutes after he sent her a text, he got a response back.
[Okay. I’ll have half an hour of free time after I drop Little Wang off at school on Monday.]
After the two of them exchanged a few more texts, they settled on going together to drop Little Wang off at kindergarten on Monday. After that, they could either discuss in the car or look for a place to discuss for half an hour. After their talk, he would drive her to meet her foreigner teacher.
In the world of adults, divorce wasn’t a big deal. This was even more true for Ruan Xia. And so, even though she was already sure that Song Tingshen wanted to talk to her about divorcing, it didn’t bring her any turmoil. After putting her phone down and closing her eyes, she quickly fell asleep.
In contrast, Song Tingshen suffered insomnia as he pensively looked at his sweetly sleeping son.

Having postponed her plan to take Little Wang to a nearby mall to play because of attending the wedding yesterday, Ruan Xia decided to bring him there today. Song Tingshen also went with them because of Little Wang’s clamoring.
Recently, the number of times this family of three appeared together was increasing.
Ruan Xia didn’t mind that Song Tingshen was coming along. With him present, it would be fine for her to hand over the responsibility of carrying Little Wang, and she would be able to relax.
Three-year-old boys could be very naughty. Even after they arrived at the mall, Little Wang was restless. If she took her eye off of Little Wang for one second, who knows where he would have run off to? Having another adult around meant there would be another pair of eyes watching Little Wang. This meant she could relax a little bit.
