Chapter 157: Let’s go
The forces of Dalian were divided into four groups, but it was the result of a fierce battle since all the groups were comprised of cowards who were full of greed. To obtain the land and supplies they wanted, the would have to attack first. No one was brave or strong enough to attempt the feat, and the other three groups in addition to Gukhan’s group were gathered in the place of their gods. They had to stay within the group to even have a chance to fight with the help of their gods.
“Why don’t you worship god then?”
“Tha- that’s…”
Gukhan bit his lips. He wasn’t sure if what he was going to say was going to anger Dohyuk.“…That’s what made our group the largest…”
It was vital information. Dohyuk realized that the people living the 2nd life didn’t like believing in gods. But as the power inflation grew and a lot of people were left behind, many of them turned to the gods. Even then, there were a lot who still didn’t accept that, and that included Gukhan’s group.
“We have the upper hand in average strength but…”
“The priests of these three groups are stronger than any of us.”
“How strong are they? How can they fight against you people?”
“I… I think the strongest would require at least 7 of our men to defeat…”
“Good.” Dohyuk nodded, “How are you faring? Can you heal yourself?”“Ye-yes? Oh, uh, yes. I can.”
Gukhan became pale at the sudden mercy. It was a common method to show mercy to give hope and kill after. Yet the man was more merciful than he expected.
“I’m Yoo Dohyuk.”
And he was a much more famous person than expected.
“I’m sure you know who I am.”
“…”
It was obvious that he knew. Most of the people who survived to this point knew about the Phenomenal Nine. Gukhan became even paler with fear.
“At least until now, you have acted wisely. Thus, I’m sparing your life.”
For now. The rest was skipped and Gukhan knew this.
“I’m sure you will understand what I’m going to say also.”
“…”
Gukhan nodded quickly. Dohyuk was giving him a condition to keep himself alive. A condition for Gukhan and his group to follow in order to survive.
“From this time forward, you will not gather any gray coins. I won’t say anything for the gray coins you have earned until now, but if I find you getting even one more coin, you lose the reason to be spared. I will consider it as direct opposition and I will chase after you to the end to eradicate you all. It is up to you to believe if I have such power to do so.”
There was no need to doubt that.
“And there’s more. If you have any ‘materials’ to take coins from, bring them to me. And spread the rumor.”
“R-rumor?”
Without answering, Dohyuk grabbed Gukhan’s neck. He feared for his life, but Dohyuk didn’t choke him. Instead, he began running up the wall that Gukhan was sitting against. At the top where the wall ended, Dohyuk jumped up into the sky.
And from that point-
“…!”
Gukhan saw the city in the distance. The wall was a common city wall that resembled that of Aruga’s desert city, but there was a ‘real’ city inside it. It was like Gangnam of South Korea that Dohyuk had rebuilt with his power.
“You see?” Dohyuk asked the man as he landed on top of the ruined building. “Spread rumors about me, my city, and everything I’ve told you. I will eradicate all those who come to fight me. But if that’s not what they want, bring me the people and give up the gray coins.”
“I… I…”
“Huh?”
“I want to serve you, sir! I… I’m not as strong as you, but I can be a fighter!”
It was awe-inspiring, a wonder from a being that was much more than the man himself. Dohyuk also knew. His faith had been increasing ever since it exceeded 10 thousand…
-Faith: 19,884,231
He witnessed 10 thousand faith increasing instantly. And there was more.

Dohyuk knew that spreading rumors would bring him faith. But the new chapter?
“…”
Dohyuk wasn’t sure what the new chapter was yet. As far as he knew, it needed to be something that was spectacular and not similar to what he did before. And once the chapter was complete, Dohyuk would have a new power.
Dohyuk let go of his hand.
“Now, go.”
“P-please! Let me serve…”
Gukhan kneeled and bowed onto the ground. But the answer was cold.
“It’s not enough.”
He continued before Gukhan could ask, “Do your best to earn my trust if you want.”
And then he jumped down from the building.
He learned about the three groups from Gukhan. Dohyuk went straight to the closest region from his current location. As soon as he took a step, he felt his mana being sucked out of him.
Vampiric Region, or a region controlled by Vehume. As Dohyuk moved about 1 km, he sat down on the ground. The region was barren. And that’s why…
“I know who you are….”
He saw beasts, no… vampires, approaching him.
“Our master has spoken. We know who you are, and why you deserve pain worse than death itself.”
“Hmm.”
Dohyuk nodded as he glanced around. There were about 200 men. It wasn’t hard to figure out who the leader was. They all didn’t look human. They all had transformed or were transforming into something else. And Dohyuk knew that Vehume’s most beloved did not look like humans.
Dohyuk looked at the vampire who spoke to him.
“So, is that all you have to discuss?”
“Discuss?”
It seemed like he was almost completely transformed.
“I hope you didn’t come all the way here just to chat.”
The vampire cackled.
“The only thing you are allowed to do is to scream.”
However, the vampire seemed to be careful. He knew fighting Dohyuk wasn’t easy. But Dohyuk was alone. There was no way for him to fight against two hundred followers in the region.
“What…”
The vampire flinched as Dohyuk placed his hand on the ground; he then didn’t hesitate and charged at Dohyuk to strike him down with his claws. He needed to deal with Dohyuk before he could do anything.
But it was no use as it didn’t require any downtime for Dohyuk to spit out what he had swallowed.
The ground shook.
“…!”
Everyone witnessed metal pillars surging from the ground.
“Get back!” The vampire shouted and the others all quickly fell back. But there was no need to panic as the pillars themselves didn’t appear to attack them.
“Of course, I’m not here to chat.”
These pillars were more for transport. Dohyuk jumped up to one of the pillars.
“Open up.”
The walls of the pillars opened. The labyrinth he swallowed, had more than just Blass. After he gathered the information from Gukhan, he stopped by his city to round his citizens. People were ready to fight since they had arrived at Dalian City.
“It’s a bit late to do this but…”
Dohyuk then jumped down in front of the leader vampire and spoke.
“I’m declaring war against you.”
People began to shout from behind. And to them…

Dohyuk bestowed his blessing.
