She stood beside Di Fuyi and spoke as she handed him one of the swords, "Let's find a way to escape!"

She knew that it was risky to attack at that moment, but she had no choice! She did not want to marry Mo Zhao even if she was pretending as she could not bear the guilt.

Besides that, she knew that Mo Zhao was going to kill Di Fuyi once the wedding ceremony had ended! Though she had very little time to come up with a better plan, she tried coming up with something as they fought.

God knows that she felt dreadful as she thought about all the sacrifices that Di Fuyi had gone through for her all this while. She felt incredibly guilty and was touched because he was willing to become Mo Zhao's hostage for her and had gone through so much suffering so that he could be with her. Why could she not risk her life for him now?!

Luckily, she had recalled everything in time! She could not imagine the consequences if she did not. Perhaps, she would have married Mo Zhao. Coupled that with the fact that Di Fuyi had sacrificed his life for her, it was utterly useless even if she killed herself!

Fortunately, it was not too late for her to regain her senses, and there was at least a sliver of hope that a miracle would happen! She had planned everything before she came out from the room and was waiting for an opportunity to take action.

When she was ready to attack Mo Zhao, she stabbed him right at his aorta. She was well educated regarding the human acupoints and also the human anatomy, and so she hit him on his wound again after she had stabbed him so that the entire hairpin would completely pierce into his heart.

Even though the hairpin had penetrated Mo Zhao's heart, she could not believe that he had not fallen on the floor and was even able to order his people to attack them.

In fact, Mo Zhao had asked for a super grand wedding ceremony, and so he had invited almost everyone in the underground palace so that it looked crowded.

All of the guests possessed a certain level of power, and even Di Fuyi was not able to beat them all at once.

But so what?

They were okay with dying anywhere as long as both of them were together!

Killing two to break even was good and killing four was considered a profit!

Gu Xijiu was quite confident that she would be able to kill tens of people based on her current abilities.

However, Di Fuyi.., He had been chained for so long, and she assumed that all of his spiritual power should have been nullified. Gu Xijiu was glad that he was able to stand instead of having to lean against her as a support. However, she did not expect him to fight.

The people continued drawing closer to them, and Gu Xijiu immediately said to Di Fuyi, "Follow me."

Di Fuyi was amazed and nodded. "Sure!"

She was still worried. "Are you fit enough to stand? Should I carry you?"

Di Fuyi shook his head and replied firmly, "I'm good, feel free to fight." He then looked at her for a second. "Xijiu, you seem to have improved though."

Gu Xijiu did not notice it. "Huh?"

Di Fuyi continued, "Based on the way you hit him, you've probably achieved a spiritual power of level eight by now, and it's all your soul's effort."

Gu Xijiu had been too busy earlier to notice it. In fact, she realized that her body was lighter than before. She moved her arms, and her spiritual power traveled to her sword.

She was delighted. "Cool! What you said is true!" She felt so pumped up now.

She did not bother about whether they could escape as there would be more stupid ghosts as soon as her power had been upgraded!

"Darling, you have created another miracle! You've upgraded two levels just by sleeping for a long time!"
