“Huang, are you out of your mind?” The soldiers were frustrated with their pilot for crashing the warplane.

“I… I did not press anything. It suddenly went out of control,” Huang tried to explain himself in a blind panic. “Something is wrong! Something is really wrong!” The warplane was stationary on the ground as the conversation took place.

In a matter of seconds, loud banging noises could be heard on top of the aircraft. It was the sound of frustration coming from the surviving soldiers who were mourning the loss of their dead companions.

Huang did not know what to do. If he opened the door, surely he would surely be killed. The rest of his crew were scared, too. After all, they were part of the team. As they were contemplating the consequences of staying put or opening the hatchet, the warplane suddenly rose above the ground and started flying again.

Those on the outside of the warplane slipped and fell from the vessel. Meanwhile, those on the inside were not having it any better either. They had lost their balance and rolled round in the cabin like dice. It was only after a period of time that they finally manage to get to their feet.

Once they were aware of their surroundings, Huang noticed that the buttons on the control deck were moving automatically! The man was terrified as he could not see anyone there, yet the buttons seemed to be moving on their own.

“It’s the Lord! She must be messing with our controls!” Huang was the first person to realize the problem.

“Nonsense! Isn’t she trapped in the Gossamer Net? How can she possibly be controlling the vehicle?”

“Turn on the surveillance camera! Now!” One of the men then rushed forward to press a button.

The screen flickered slightly before displaying the scene in the cabin where Gu Xijiu was imprisoned. To their dismay, all they saw was an empty net! The woman was nowhere to be seen.

“It is her! It is really her! She has gone invisible!” Huang and the rest of the men started to panic upon that realization. They quickly retrieved their guns and started frantically shooting at the control deck since they knew that their weapons would not damage it.

If the high-powered laser beam were to hit a person, it would surely burn a hole through their body. Without the specific medicine required to treat the wound, the body would slowly rot, turning the flesh into a pool of pus. The laser beams flashed by densely, covering every area of the control deck. If someone were really there, he or she would be pierced with holes through their body.

Seeing that there was obviously no chance for anyone to escape that attack, they finally stopped shooting and looked at one another. The Lord should be dead by now, they thought to themselves. She couldn’t escape such a blast.

At this moment, the warship was hanging in mid-air, like a floating machine. They were about to get closer to the control deck and have a look, but a sudden announcement interrupted them. “Paging, warplane one-three-eight! Warplane one-three-eight! Please respond immediately!” A broadcast suddenly came through. The men looked up and were shocked.

Dozens of warplanes had surrounded them in a siege. One of the warplanes was unusually huge, almost twice the size of their own craft.

“Sir… Sir…” Huang responded in a trembled voice.

“Damn, what is going on here?” A stern voice could be heard from the broadcast. It was their commanding officer that they were on their way to meet.

“We had lost control of our plane for a moment. But things are alright now.”

“Lost control? Who was controlling the plane?”

“It was… It was the woman that we captured, the Lord!”

“Bastard! If you had caught her, how did she control the plane? Where is she now?”

“She could be… Could be dead.”

The conversation suddenly went silent for a moment.

“Bastard! Who asked you to kill her?” The officer was obviously infuriated. “Where is her body?”
