Gu Xijiu genuinely did not want to accept the boy as her apprentice. After all, this kid was obviously stubborn and not easy to be trained. To avoid wasting any more time, Gu Xijiu patted his shoulder, turned, and left.

The kid was stunned for a moment and finally realized that the other party really did not want to accept him as an apprentice. He thought about what had happened for a while and decided to catch up with Gu Xijiu. He stopped right in front of her and said, “Since you have saved me twice, I can tell you my name.”

“There is no need. I am not interested.”

The kid’s face turned green! It was probably his first time being rejected so many times by the same person. He raised his voice as Gu Xijiu continued to walk away. “Since I said that I want to tell you, I must keep my promise. I am Qianshi!”

“That’s a nice name. Good for you.” Gu Xijiu patted his head, turned, and left.

The boy really could not believe that Gu Xijiu had no interest in him at all. He watched her back as she walked away and stamped his foot on the ground. “Hey, little fairy, what is your name? When I get stronger in the future and dominate the Six Realms, I will repay you for what you have done today and promote you.”

This kid spoke like he was giving her the greatest gift in the future. He made it sound like it was only a matter of time for him to be the ruler of the Six Realms. It was likely that the kid’s ego had been inflated after being pursued by everyone to be his apprentice.

Frankly, he was an excellent seed to sew and nurture, but he was simply too arrogant. If he continued to behave this way, the end result would be bad.

After listening to his last sentence, Gu Xijiu stopped abruptly. The idea of accepting him as her apprentice lingered again in her mind. She thought that since he was the creator of the universe, it was her responsibility to direct this kid in the right way since he might affect the future of the Six Realms.

Slowly, she turned around and asked, “Qianshi, I will ask you once again, do you want to worship me as your master?”

Having heard that question, the child immediately turned arrogant again. He raised his chin highly, thinking to himself that the lady had just been pretending to walk away. “Little fairy, although your kung fu is very high, you are not qualified to be my master. I will only consider it if you are willing to listen to me and follow my commands. You have to know that if you take me as your apprentice, I can help to promote you to the highest position in the Celestial Kingdom. Even the Emperor Immortal will look up to you…”

He stopped before he finished his sentence because Gu Xijiu raised her hand and touched his head. “Qianshi, you are in dire need of medication. I have given you a chance; it’s fine if you don’t want to take it.”

She no longer cared about him and directly teleported away.

The kid was speechless. He could sense that he had missed an excellent opportunity. He couldn’t help but shout, “Who are you?”

No one answered him.

He clenched his fists in disappointment and said to himself, “I will go to the Celestial Kingdom and worship the most powerful immortal as my teacher! Little fairy, I will make you kneel at my feet…”

The Six Realms were in a state of chaos. It was so bad to the point where it was suffocating. It was impossible for Gu Xijiu to use her current strength to restore the world to its previous condition. Everything had to wait until she could restore her abilities. Therefore, Gu Xijiu isolated herself in a valley so that she could cultivate and restore her spiritual power as quickly as possible.

Because of the continuous war in the Six Realms, all the lands were damaged by natural disasters such as hurricanes as well as fierce battles. It was also the same in the valley in which Gu Xijiu had isolated herself. The once lush forest was now destroyed by war, and the minimal vegetation on was now even more scarce. Flowers became a rare species.

Nonetheless, after staying here for some time, Gu Xijiu seemed to have rekindled her own purifying aura. She had automatically purified the suffocated air swirling in the valley to the point where a clear sky was revealed on top of her.

Wherever she went, steam seemed to travel with her around her body that moistened everything to the point where the bare mountains began to sprout again with vegetation. There was colorful auspicious air rising out of the valley.
