Venerated Venomous Consort
chapter-2991-30041322

Fortunately, she was able to stop herself in time. However, those hands from the ground seized the chance and threw her forward.

It was not long before the hands started violently attacking her!

Gu Xijiu’s acupuncture points had been sealed off, thus restricting her movements once again.

Another arm reached out to secure her waist tightly. There was so much pressure on her hand that she could feel her waist aching.

“Gu Xijiu, I did not expect that you would hit me with such deadly strikes!” Fan Qianshi’s voice started to ring in her ears. He sounded annoyed.

“I could say the same to you.” Gu Xijiu was already drenched in a cold sweat. She could finally be honest with her thoughts, for they had already shed all pretenses of cordiality.

To her surprise, Fan Qianshi’s spiritual level was powerful enough for him to create another embodiment mistakable as his true self. Apparently, she had been completely fooled.

“How are we the same? You wanted me dead, but I could never have the heart to hurt you.” Fan Qianshi seemed annoyed and heartbroken at the same time. “Gu Xijiu, you have always been so harsh,” he said while pulling her even closer to him.

Gu Xijiu felt as if iron shackles had tightly chained her waist. The joints on her backbone could be heard popping and cracking due to the pressure.

Fan Qianshi was obviously punishing her as he had sealed away all of her acupuncture points so that she could not access her spiritual power.

Without any spiritual power, she needed air to stay alive, but he was holding her tightly beneath the ground without the use of any proper Ground Drilling. They were both squeezed in the sand without any air. Also, the way he held her made it even difficult for her to breathe.

Fortunately, her physical body was at the level of a Great Deity, which granted her a certain level of immortality. Otherwise, she would be long dead from suffocation.

Gu Xijiu felt as if she were being buried alive! It was a terrible feeling! The color from her face began to flush, and soon she turned pale. It did not take long for her to start coughing out blood.

Fan Qianshi watched icily as her body began to fail, but he did not intend for her to die, so he started casting some spells.

“Let her go!” The sand was parted to the sides. Di Hao could be seen approaching them, though still looking quite pale. There was a bent-blade in his hand with the sharp edge aimed directly at Fan Qianshi.

Fan Qianshi looked at Di Hao in utter disbelief. “Isn’t that the World Cutting Blade from the Master of the Heavenly Law? How did you get this?”

“Good! It seems you understand the power of this weapon. Now let go of her, or I will use this blade right now, and we shall all perish together,” Di Hao sternly said.

“Let’s talk outside, she cannot hold on much longer,” Fan Qianshi then brought her out of the sandy ground.

Di Hao stayed close to them the entire time.

“Master!” The pink candle dragon rushed forward in an attempt to take Gu Xijiu out from his arms.

Fan Qianshi simply waved his hand in the air to create a mobile vortex of rotating winds, and the candle dragon was immediately sent far away by the gusts of wind. It crashed into the ground and had to stay low for a moment to regain its strength.

“Fan Qianshi, don’t you think it is a shame for you to use your power as the God of Creation against a helpless candle dragon?”

“It is too noisy.” Fan Qianshi did not care about the pink candle dragon at all. He only kept it alive because of his promise to Little Black. Otherwise, the vortex of rotating winds that he had just summoned would be much more violet, enough to shed its flesh into pieces.

Swiftly, he continued to seal off dozens of acupuncture points on Gu Xijiu’s body to take away her mobility. “Little Xijiu, don’t you try to play any tricks. You can no longer get away from me,” he said while putting her down on the ground.

With an additional wizardry barrier cast around her, no one would be able to get close to her.

He then turned his attention to Di Hao and started mocking him, “I did not expect to see you with this blade. I have been underestimating you, for sure. However, it cannot be simply used by anyone. Do you know how to use it?”

“We can test your hypothesis,” Di Hao said with a smile.

He held the blade tightly in his hand, and a steady flow of blood was then drawn from his fingertip to the sharp edge of the blade, thus igniting the blade into a glowing metal.
