Versatile Superstar: Rise In Hollywood
-
chapter-95
As Aiden was going around doing shows to promote 'Revolution', a lot of people were busy.
These people were his fanclub who were promoting the song on all social media platforms and discussing every bit of information on them.
In the last one month, his fanclub had grown too much. They were just around 2500 at the start of the year but at the start of March, they have gotten more than 10k members.
This has obviously happened due to Aiden's videos that had gone viral. Normally, only few people would follow a singer due to a viral song as one song doesn't mean a lot.
It was because the singer's other songs could be bad or completely different from the one which had gone viral. People would focus on the song more than the singer.Because of that, even with Hold onto me going viral, Aiden only got a few hundred fans. But now, he suddenly got a few thousand.
It was because of how many people thought he was a hero. One video has definitely done a lot for his fanbase. It was an instant boost.
But as his fan base has grown a lot, it also needed to be handled, so the leader of the fanbase, Skyneves, gave perks to certain members who were in the fanbase for a long time and made them moderators to control the group.
Accounts like Aiden's wife, Moaning Frodo, April on Roof, Chad Putin and Hollywood Insider became these moderators.
[April on Roof: Did anyone go to the Dreamers show last night? Animeroll hadn't released any schedule of next shows, so people are saying that it might be their last show and with that, the band will disband. I'm so sad because I wasn't able to go due to exams.]
[Captain Barney: Me and my ship were at the show last night. It was legen-wait for it-dary!]
[Stan the man: What do you mean they are disbanding? I thought Aiden belonged to a band and they finally had their first hit.][Hermione Stranger: @Stan the man Aiden got the band together for just one song. They are not a band from the get go and I don't think they would disband just like that. Even if they did, they would surely return. A lot of anime fans want them to sing more English title tracks.]
[Parker's puberty: So, what's next for Aiden? He's going to go solo again.]
As soon as the question was asked in the group, people started discussing what might be his next plan. The people of the fangroup knew well how much of a fan Aiden was of 'Sigma male grindset'.
He would go from one thing to another without stopping.
[Skyneves: I think [Black Saints] would release next. So, we might see him during some promotions. The trailer will be released tomorrow, so I'm excited to get a glimpse of him.]
[Who's your fav author: I don't think we will get a glimpse. There's a lot of prominent actors in the movie and his name is written pretty low on the cast. I'm trying to keep my expectations low, so I'm very sure that he will be that random guy who one of the villains will kill for fun.]
[Tudum: I think he's reputation at this point is too good, so I'm pretty sure he's that one nice guy in the movie who's soft spoken and helps the main character.]
[Hollywood Insider: What if he's a villain? #Curious]
As that question fell, some people who were chatting couldn't help but laugh. It was an absurd question in their eyes as Aiden's image was as clean as it could be. At this point, people can't even imagine him being anything other than that nice person in the movie.
Even in his interviews, he had come across as a good, confident guy, trying to make it in Hollywood with his skills. And as he never had any scandals, his image was really good.
Though, the reason he never had any scandals was because he was single for a long time now and no paparazzi had even roamed around him till now.
[Aiden's wife: I can't really imagine him as a villain. He doesn't have that presence or anything. He's more likely to just be nice to everyone he meets.]
[JK Fowling: Even if Aiden acts like a villain, he might be one who's just acting like a villain and protecting the hero all this while. Oh, wait… That's a nice idea for my book.]
[Darth Fader: I will go bald if Aiden comes out as a villain in the movie. Makers won't risk it with how image is currently, especially if he has a meaty role in the movie. People won't be scared of him even if he acts as a villain.]
[Hollywood Insider: @Darth Fader Let's see about it. #Bet]
***
"These are fan letters for me."
Aiden muttered in shock and wonder as he looked at the pile of letters in front of him. There were at least 15 letters on the table.
"Yeah, a lot of people sent you letters as you were in the hospital. I collected all of them. Just forgot to give it to you before." ,c,om
Wade said, sitting down in front of him. They were currently sitting down in Aiden's apartment, talking about work and other things.
"I thought these days people send emails or just a message on Sparrow or Skygram." Aiden asked, picking up a letter from the pile. It was written by someone named 'Aisha Hughes'.
It seems like she was a teenage fan of his.
"Most do but there's a lot who still likes the traditional way of sending fan letters. They are most likely to be ready. Though, most celebs don't even bother to read them these days. The previous guy I worked with was like that."
Wade clicked his tongue at the end of the sentence and Aiden just focused on the fan letter, like he was entranced.
It was a very big thing for him as a fan was writing to him. He even decided to write back to them. That was the least he could do.
"Anyway, Aiden. I wanted to go over the schedule and work we need to do in the next month. I was thinking that it's important for you to move houses and maybe get a car as you have earned pretty good till now, especially with 'Revolution' doing so well on the…"
Wade stopped talking as he realised that Aiden wasn't focusing on him but his fan letter. Frowning, he took the letter from his hand and Aiden glared at him.
"Let me read."
"Listen to me first, kid. I'm talking about something important." Wade sighed, then glanced around the apartment. "You need to change houses. This place is getting unsafe as you are getting popular. It's better to change before [Black Saints] release as I'm very sure paparazzis would swarm your place after that movie."
Aiden got serious hearing that and nodded his head.
"Actually, I was thinking about it too as Valerie told me that some reporters were asking about me from the neighbours."
"Yeah, and not like you don't earn good. You earned a good enough income just from the two roles you did. And you earned way more from your songs. You even have the endorsement deal from ZXO. Pretty sure they will try to give you more deals seeing your image."
"I know." Aiden simply said. In the past half year or so, his income had really grown a lot and now, he could afford a lot of things that he was not able to before. "Do you know any real estate agents?"
"Yeah, I do. I will get you a good deal. It's better to live in a place which is protected. Some paparazzi are crazy enough to trespass into people's homes. Oh, yeah, get a car and some good clothes too. We need to be extremely careful of how you look."
"I have clothes that I got from ZXO."
"That won't do. You need more clothes and better ones. Even if you get papped, we need to make sure that you are not giving a weird pose or looking bad. No matter how much people say looks don't matter, they expect celebs to be good looking. Half the girls follow male celebs for that. So, make sure you look good even if you are falling down the stairs."
Aiden agreed with what Wade was saying as many celebs have whole teams for all these things. As he didn't have that, he himself needed to be careful.
'I never thought all this would come so quickly.'
He silently thought.
If not for the stabbing incident, he was sure that it would take a long time for paparazzi and reporters to become interested enough to follow him around.
"Okay, I will get all that done. Though, I have a lot of things here, so we might need some help."
"I will arrange that. Don't worry." Wade said before adding. "And I talked to some people in Granite films. They are not going to take you on promotions or anything."
Aiden solemnly nodded hearing that. He had thought that Granite films would try to use his current popularity to promote the movie.
"Did they say any reason?"
"Yeah, it's actually because they want your character to be under wraps before the film releases, so they don't want you to do any interviews. They want to shock viewers as those who know you won't expect you to come off as one of the negative characters."
When Wade said that, Aiden stopped feeling disappointed as that was a genuine reason and a good marketing tactic due to how important Kai's character was in the plot.
Suddenly, Wade smirked and added.
"But I did get you something good."
