Mysterious Chamber, Tower of Nyx, Noxville, Netheria
Keith was sitting cross-legged with elbows digging into his thighs and his hands supporting his chin. His eyes were focused on the beautiful girl who was sitting in front of him, wearing a gorgeous black princess dress.
She was focusing hard on moulding the orb of Darkness that was hovering over her left hand, and the Darkness kept changing shapes according to her will.
A few moments later, the Darkness took the form of a reindeer with a beautiful crown over its head, and her body started trembling a little as she tried to maintain its form. There was a heartwarming smile on her face now that she had succeeded in what he had asked her to do.
"Make it dance." Keith lightly said, and she tried it, but as soon as the Reindeer took a few steps by hopping in a circle, it exploded and all that remained was a cloud of Darkness that soon took the form of a black flame.
Seeing her frowning at what just happened, Keith smiled as he straightened his back and then drew his right hand forward, summoning Darkness in the form of a black flame, which was exactly the same size as the one hovering above the girl's hand.
"Elemental Magic and Control are one of the hardest things to master in life for a Cultivator, be it an Auror or a Wizard. Everyone can Master simple spells and utilise their elemental power in simpler ways. For example, creating a Fireball or a wall of mud or stone is easy, but creating something living out of the elements is quite complex." He gently spoke to her and then showed her something that brightened her black eyes in joy.
Keith moulded the Darkness in the form of a reindeer, exactly like the one she had created, and then made it prance and dance around them.
To her elation, the reindeer soon separated into two smaller reindeer, and then they kept dividing until 32 very small reindeer danced together.
And what she was marvelling was how each reindeer was moving and dancing uniquely. Some were even engaging in a battle by locking their horns. It was as if all thirty-two of them had a mind of their own."We have an advantage over people who are not as blessed as us." Keith smiled as he transformed these thirty-two small reindeer into a pack of wolves who were chasing and surrounding two deers. "We are superior thanks to our Bloodline. All we have to do is imagine, and we can use our elements in any way we desire.
As soon as his words fell, two creatures made out of a brilliant vermilion flame appeared behind his back and engaged in a battle.
He was not even looking at them, but they were fighting on their own as if their lives depended on it.
The Phoenix flapped its gorgeous wings, sending waves of fire at the Dragon, who in return spewed a torrent of flame to negate its enemy's attack.
"Our control over any Element we have an affinity for is perfect. And you can control even the Elements you don't have an affinity for better than those who have an affinity for them but are lesser beings compared to us."
She nodded her head, understanding his words, and then curiously looked at him.
"Master, do you possess an affinity for all the Elements?"
She had seen him use all the Elements in existence with ease that indicated his perfect affinity for them, and it had left her quite curious.
Now that Keith had brought up the subject, she finally could not keep herself from asking the question.
"Maybe." Keith smiled at her and chuckled when her eyes widened at what she saw next.
There, behind his back, were creatures made out of all the Elements in existence, and her cute mouth dropped open in surprise.
But she soon recovered from it and let out a melodious laugh that could warm anyone's heart.
"Keep it a secret between the two of us." He smiled as she obediently nodded her head to him.
Minami did not know yet how ridiculous of a concept it was for someone to possess an affinity for all the Elements in existence. Just this information was enough for his enemies to paint him as a threat to all the Realms out there, but he was not worried about her knowing his secret.
She belonged to him, in every sense, and even the blood in her Veins was his. Now that he thought about it, even the blood running in his mother's Veins was his.
He could not help but chuckle at the thought and then smiled as he watched Minami close her eyes and focus on her Elemental Control.
This time, she did not use Darkness but summoned water, and then she created two cats from it, making them play around with each other. She kept her eyes closed and controlled them only through her mind and imagination. And then she created another pair of cats with Darkness, but when she tried to do it with her third element, the cats exploded and her concentration broke.
"Take it easy." He smiled when he saw her frowning and then offered his hand to her.
Minami sweetly smiled at him as she placed her hand in his, and then followed his lead, standing up and entering his arms.
He slowly danced around with her, looking right into her black eyes.
"I am leaving for Mystich City after dinner tonight. And I will stay there for a few weeks." He informed her and watched her eyes quiver.
"May I come with you?" She asked.
"Yes. And don't pack a lot of clothes. I will take you out shopping there."
"Mhm." She happily nodded her head and then expectantly looked at him.
Keith leaned in and captured her lips, tasting them, and kept kissing her as they swayed to the beat of her heart.
He playfully nudged his nose with hers, which made her giggle, and then he lifted off the space barriers around them that he had erected to hide them from the eyes of the other girls.
No one really paid attention to their sudden appearance as they were all busy training or watching others spar.
Only Rebecca and Marianne were not here as they had stayed back at the Castle with Princess Avriel. She had been busy helping the little Princess and spent the rest of the time integrating the knowledge from the Medical Bools Keith had gifted her.
Amelia had been busy studying the Runes in this Chamber, and Keith had taken the burden of Business off her shoulders as he handled things personally.
Qingyue too had handed over the business duties to Ayesha, and she spent most of her time Cultivating and trying to control her Special Physique.
The two of them walked over and sat next to Nana, who was recuperating from exhaustion using the One-Fold Heart Pulse Technique and was watching Kiara, Ingrid, Qingyue, and Sibyl fighting against Venessa.
A sweet smile crept on her face when he planted a kiss on her cheek and then she returned the affection by capturing his lips.
"You don't want to spar today?"
"No." Keith shook his head and then leaned back against an invisible wall, enjoying watching the girls struggle to keep up with Venessa.
Nana continued recuperating, and Minami interestedly watched the fight as well.
He had trained them all from time to time in the last couple of months, and they were all showing visible improvement in their hand-to-hand combat.
His eyes turned to Gina, Ayesha, and Celine, who were fighting against Yingying, and they were doing quite well.
"Go." He could feel that Minami was quite tempted to join the girls in the battle against Venessa, and he gave her the go.
She smiled happily before she stood up and bowed to him and then rushed to join the four girls who were struggling against his dear Mother.
It was nothing serious, as they were only focusing on physical combat, and the inclusion of Minami did not bother them.
With five against one, the girls finally stabilised a little, and then Nana joined them too after a few minutes.
Venessa did not mind more opponents. She enjoyed having to fight against a group, and thanks to her Speed and Reflexes, which even Minami could not keep up with, she still kept an upper hand over them.
An hour later, when everyone was done, they all gathered and sat down around Keith, discussing their lesson today and the spars that followed since the morning.
"When are you leaving?" Venessa suddenly looked at him and asked.
He had told her that he would soon be leaving for Mystich City for several weeks, and though she never asked why he was going there, it did not mean that she was not curious about it.
"Tonight. After dinner." He told her and she nodded.
"I will leave to oversee the operations at Amazues tomorrow." She informed him.
Amazeus-Essra was the Headquarters of the Demiliore Space Travelling, Manufacturing, Exploration, and Mining Company.
Things were at a critical stage right now, and their First Space Mission to Gaia's Moon was planned for January next year. And later that year in Fall, they would send their first team to Mars to join the Netherian Mars Station.
Venessa wanted their company to be amongst the first private organisations that were lined up to start mining on the Martian Planet, and the Netherian Government had given them the green light to join the Netherian Space Agency on their next mining Mission on Mars.
"Can I come with you?" Celine looked at her friend and asked, and understanding her enthusiasm, Venessa nodded with a smile.
"Of course."
"Thank you!" The grey-eyed lady happily hugged her and then turned to look at Keith. "When will you be back?"
"I am not sure, but I will be there on your birthday."
"You are leaving for several months?" Kiara pouted before pleadingly looking at Venessa.
"No. You can not go with him." His mother shook her head, and his little sister could only obediently listen to her.
Venessa had finally asked Kiara to join the Demiliore Family business, and she planned on leaving her in charge of several industries in her absence.
There was not too much work she had to do. She only had to oversee things on her behalf, but she had to be there. And so, she could not go with Keith.
"You are taking Minami with you?" Kiara asked him.
"Yes."
"Mean!"
"I will take Ginara with me," Venessa said, and everyone, including the girl in question, looked at her in surprise.
Keith nodded to her as he understood her intentions.
Venessa wanted to train Ginara and have her by her side as her maid. He had seen through her intentions ever since he brought the girl home, and he had no problems with it.
And without needing him to say anything to her, the smart girl nodded her head with a smile when their eyes met.
She quite admired Venessa, and for the last two months, she had already been serving her more than she served Keith. And she did not mind it.
They all sighed when they found Amelia still engrossed in her study of Runes and decided to wait for some more time before leaving for home.
"Why are you going to Mystich City?" Kiara finally asked the question everyone had on their mind.
"Business, and there are a few people I need to meet and deal with. It's a mission." He smiled at her, and everyone misunderstood it for something concerning his Military responsibility.
