Meanwhile in China, it was late at night. A black luxury sports car parked in the parking lot of the residential building. Jake stepped out of the car and walked towards the entrance. After talking to Lu Lijun, he had to come to Noah…but he could not deny somewhere he himself was worried about him.

After Lu Lijun left with Jiang Yuyan for their vacation, due to a work related emergency, Noah had to return to China to handle work in the absence of Lu Lijun and Xiao Min was doing the work in place of Jiang Yuyan. As Jake had the work related to his company, he had to come to China as well.

Though both were staying together before they went to England, this time Jake preferred to stay in the hotel, instead of staying with Noah in his home. After the argument they had in England at An Tian's place, they didn't spend time together other than if it meant for their work on the common project between Lu Corporations and Mountabattens.

Reaching the concerned floor, Jake was about to press the passcode on the door lock but then stopped and rang the bell. His heart was somewhat unstable but he inhaled deeply and calmed himself down so he would be able to act normally in front of Noah.

In a while, Noah opened the door and was surprised to see Jake. He got back to his senses quickly and acted normal as if nothing had happened between them. Acting normal for so many years made him excellent in pulling it out very well every time.

Noah raised a brow in question, "Have you forgotten the password or just wanted to trouble me to open this door for you when I am busy working?"

"I thought to take your permission to enter your home," Jake replied as he looked back at the tired guy.

Noah sighed and turned to return inside as he left the door opene for Jake. "Since when have you started following manners?"

"Since the night we spent at my brother's home," Jake stepped inside as he replied, and closed the door behind.

It reminded Noah that night but then he shrugged and acted normal, "Then you should also know that going to someone else's home this late in night is not a good manner either," and he went to get water for himself.

"I follow England time zone and it's not a late night there, yet," Jake said as he removed his shoes and walked towards the sofa around the messy looking center table.

The glass top of the table was entirely covered by a number of files and there was a single laptop placed along with them. Also, there were a few empty beer cans on the floor and also a big size carton of beer cans.

"Have you brought your office to your home along with a bar?" Jake asked.

"Something like this," Noah replied and threw a water bottle at Jake which he caught.

Noah sat on the sofa, in front of his laptop. He grabbed one beer can and asked, "Do you want one?"

Noah offered him a can which he was holding but Jake stood up and went towards that carton with at least more than a dozen cans and lifted it up.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Noah exclaimed.

"You asked if I want to drink then I am getting it," Jake answered calmly and returned to his place on the sofa as he placed the carton next to him.

"I didn't mean all of them," Noah offered him a displeased glare.

"But I am going to drink all of them. You can do whatever you want," Jake said and he pulled out one can and opened it to drink.

"Now where are your manners of behaving in someone else' home?"

Jake had a sip and looked back at him, "I am behaving that is why you are still sitting calmly in your place," and had another sip.

Noah could clearly understand the underlying meaning and sighed, "Do whatever you want." He didn't wish to bring those things back between them.

Seeing Noah acting ignorant to his meaningful remark, Jake felt displeased as he watched the guy who was focused on his laptop screen. Though he had decided to act normally, something inside him was urging him to not be quiet and provoke this guy in front of him.

"I want to do what I want, but you don't allow me to," Jake said and he emptied out one can entirely down his throat.

Noah could see him through the corner of his eyes and sense what Jake was trying to do. "You should take that carton with you and leave as I am busy working."

"This is not a time for work. Instead you should stop working and sleep," Jake instructed.

Noah sighed. His fingers continued to move on the keyboard, "Seems like you just want someone to annoy and play with as this is not England where you can get a girl ready for you at just a call away."

Jake glared at him and he emptied another can down his throat, "True, that's why I came to you."

"Then you should go to your brother who can introduce various girls." Once again Noah ignored his meaningful remark, "I believe at least one of them will be according to your taste. I had been with most of them. Trust me you won't be disappointed at all…thoroughly pleased you will be... You know what I mean."

"But I want someone else to do that for me, not those girls," Jake replied boldly, his words totally suggestive to convey what he meant.

"Then you should have brought that someone with you. I believe Miss Jane wouldn't have minded accompanying His Highness Prince Jacob on his business endeavours," Noah commented, stubbornly disregarding what Jake exactly meant.

"True!" Jake didn't deny and opened another can of beer. In just a short span of a few minutes he already emptied four to five cans of beers.
