Back in China, it was morning and Jake finally woke up as he found himself inside the familiar room and on the bed that once belonged to him. He frowned as he observed the room, "What the heck I am doing here? Didn't I just leave last night?"

The drunk man had no recollection of what he did after he put on the shoes. He opened the door of the home, went out but then he was so drunk that he turned around and entered the home once again, 'I am finally here."

Thinking he retuned to his place, he went to the room that was meant for him and slept there, not knowing someone out there was panicking and searching for him everywhere. "I am sure I retuned to hotel last night," he said again, only to hear someone's annoyed voice.

"No you didn't, you asshole and made me run for you till late night."

Jake heard the familiar voice and looked at the person. Noah was standing by the door and looked annoyed. "Will you care to get up now. I have to leave for the office."

Jake tried to get up and realised his head was hurting badly and he groaned as he pressed his head with his hands. "Damn it."

"Who asked you to drink then?" he heard Noah but Jake said nothing as he continued to press his head. "How did I end up here?"

"That you should ask yourself," Noah countered. "I searched for you everywhere thinking you were drunk and how would you go back and you asshole was sleeping here while left me worried for you."

Jake looked at him. "You were worried for me?" His voice was heavy and hoarse. "That was a mistake. My bad that I felt worried and suffered in the end," he replied. "Well...I don't know what you are talking about..."

"I bet you don't know," Noah brushed it off as he didn't feel it was that important and asked, "I am making breakfast. What would you like to have?"

"Anything will do," Jake replied and got out of the bed. His things were still in this home so he could freshen up and get ready. "Make it fast then. I don't want to be late to the office because of you," Noah frowned and turned to leave. "You can leave. Not like I am holding you back," Jake commented. Noah stopped and offered him a mocking smile. "I don't want one drunk guy to keep stenching badly and ruin the pleasant air in my home. So I am just trying to get your royal ass out as soon as I can."

"Soon, you won't be able to ask me to leave," Jake mumbled. "What? What did you say?"

"Nothing. I am going to have a bath," Jake said and walked towards the bathroom with unsteady steps as he still felt a little dizzy. "Don't lock the door," Noah said and Jake stopped only to hear Noah trying to clear the wrong sounding words, "I mean, if you happen to fall inside the shower and go unconscious…Umm…looking at you, it looks very much possible."

Jake said nothing and went to the bathroom. Jake returned after a bath and got ready in the new sets of clothes. 'I hope I am not smelling like alcohol or he will nag me again.'

When he went out, Noah had already prepared the breakfast and had arranged it on the dining table. When he saw Jake, he instructed, "First, have that."

Jake looked at the small bottle kept on the table and picked it up. He needed it to get rid of that terrible hangover and then sat in one chair.

The two quietly had breakfast together. Once they were done, Noah said, "Don't you want your mobile?"

Jake realised he didn't even think about his mobile even for a moment. Well, the person who he would ever want to contact and use his cell phone for was in front of him so there was no need. "I forgot," Jake said and thought about where he had put his mobile. "It's in your room. I had put it on charging," he said, "Just because that damn phone was power off, I had to…" he sighed, "Never mind."

"What?" Jake asked. "Nothing. Go get your phone. You might get an important call from you Jane," Noah said and put the dishes in the sink. Jake glared at him, "Should I not get a call from her?"

"Of course you can. I just had good intentions on reminding you to take your mobile so you won't miss her call."

"Why are you bringing her again and again when she is not even here and has nothing to do with anything here."

"Well, yeah. You are right." He turned to leave, "I am going to the office. Close the door behind when you leave."

Jake nodded, "I will leave once I am done talking to Jane."

Noah offered him a displeased smile and turned to leave while Jake looked at him, 'Was he jealous finally? Is it?'

Slam!

There was a loud noise of door slam after a while as Noah left the home. 'Surely jealous. Asshole, won't ever admit that he still feels something for me. Just want to play hard to get and is acting like those annoying girls.'

At the same time at Wen Mansion. Ming Lan woke up. The moment she opened her eyes, her gaze was welcome by the handsome man in front of her who was still sleeping soundly. He had his hand wrapped around her and his other hand was under her head like a pillow for her. Her own hands were resting against his firm chest as under them she could feel his heartbeats. Ming Lan smiled as she felt her heart beating faster at this closeness, she was just a breath away from him and could feel his steady breathing. 'If I move, he might wake up. He needs to sleep more,' she thought and stayed quiet, simply looking at him and feeling his steady breathing. 'Here I was thinking what would happen in the night but I worried for nothing. He didn't look as desperate like how I heard the men always are. Maybe just like me, he will develop feelings for me slowly and then we…."
