"What is this, Yuyan?"

Jiang Yuyan understood her brother caught her, but she showed her as if she did nothing wrong.

"My medicines," Jiang Yuyan replied as she went to fetch the water.

"Thanks for telling me but I want to know why it is intact?" Jiang Yang asked.

"Those are new strips so it's given that they are like that," Jiang Yuyan answered nonchalantly.

"Really? When did you leave home?"

"Morning."

"Since morning, these medicines should be taken twice in a day, but it shows that you didn't take it."

Jiang Yuyan knew she would get caught whatever she tried because there was no way her doctor brother would let it slide.

"I will remember to take it regularly," Jiang Yuyan assured him so she could calm her angry brother.

It was so rare for Jiang Yang to feel angry about anything, but if he did, then it was better to back off.

Jiang Yang was not in a mood to listen to her. "Do you even realize how weak your body is and you should be resting only but as you can't rest at least take these medicines on time."

Seeing Jiang Yang angry, Lu Feng and Jiang Yuyan both took a moment of silence.

"I will take it regularly from now on."

"Do you really think I will believe after knowing you for twenty years?"

"I promise, brother."

"If she said, then trust her, Jiang Yang," Lu Feng interrupted.

"I can tolerate anything but not this and she knows it clearly," Jiang Yang said coldly that Lu Feng had to keep quiet.

"Give it to me, I will take it right away." Saying Jiang Yuyan stepped towards her brother who was standing near the center table holding the medicine strip.

"With an empty stomach?" Jiang Yang questioned.

Jiang Yuyan realized her brother was right. "Oh, I will get something to eat."

"See outside. It's still dawn. Though I love you, don't expect me to cook for you."

"I will make something for her," Saying Lu Feng was about to get up from the couch but before that, he had to stop.

"Don't you dare to get up from there and stop coaxing her," Jiang Yang warned and Lu Feng kept quiet because he knew Jiang Yang was doing the right thing.

"I-I will make it by myself." Saying Jiang Yuyan was about to step towards the kitchen in the lounge but Jiang Yang interrupted her.

"Do you even know how to cook?"

"A little," she replied.

Just then there was a knock on the door, and Xiao Min and San Zemin entered the room. These two heard the conversation while standing outside of the door.

"I will cook for the boss," Xiao Min suggested.

Jiang Yang gave him a narrowed eyes look so San Zemin stepped forward, "I can cook too. Just tell me what the boss would like to eat?"

Seeing this, Jiang Yang pinched the bridge between his eyebrows in an annoyance, "I don't believe this. There are so many people in this world to spoil you, Yuyan."

"And you were the first one in the list, brother," Jiang Yuyan commented to calm down her brother.

"Everything is fine, but it's hard for me to imagine San Zemin in the kitchen and cooking for his boss," said Jiang Yang.

Jiang Yuyan looked at San Zemin as she smiled, "You are right. I can't imagine him cooking."

San Zemin didn't say anything and stayed silent.

"Don't change the topic. Tell me, how am I going to be sure that you would take your medicines regularly?" Jiang Yang asked.

"I have the way," said Lu Feng.

"What?" Jiang Yang asked and Jiang Yuyan was also ready to hear it.

"I will tell you later, but for now spare her from your anger," Lu Feng replied.

With this Jiang Yang calmed down and others gave out a sigh of relief, especially Jiang Yuyan.

"I need to go home now," said Jiang Yuyan.

"If you go back home now, you have to come back here in few hours again so it's better to stay here and rest," Jiang Yang suggested.

Jiang Yuyan collected her bag as she said, "I can't because Lu Lijun must have waited for me as I didn't tell him I wouldn't be back. Also, I didn't go to get him from school yesterday. He will wait for me at breakfast."

"He will understand, Yuyan, if he knows you were not feeling well," said Lu Feng.

Jiang Yuyan exclaimed, "No. He can't know I was not well." Saying she looked at Xiao Min, "Get my car ready."

No one could stop her, and she left.

"What are we going to do with her?" asked Jiang Yang as he sat helplessly on the couch.

"Haven't you realized, after so long, she talked like your little sister?" Lu Feng asked.

Jiang Yang thought about it as he said, "You are right. So, do you think I should keep scolding her like this always?"

"You can if you are ready to blame yourself for getting punched in your face," Lu Feng commented.

"Are you going to hit me for scolding my own sister?"

"She is not only your sister but someone from my family too."

"Man, you just tell me if you want to marry her, and I will make it happen."

"Don't trouble her with your useless ideas, Jiang Yang. I still can't forget she is my brother's wife."

"Being morally upright is not always so good, Lu Feng."

Ignoring him, Lu Feng stood up from the couch, "Get your ass off as we need to leave too."

Jiang Yang did so, and they left the office.

When Jiang Yuyan reached the mansion, it was still dark. She entered her room on the second floor through the secret passage. As usual, she slept in the bed, though she was not feeling sleepy at all. She knew Lu Lijun would come to see her in the morning and she wanted to be in the room when he came.

Jiang Yuyan fell asleep and when she woke up, as expected, Lu Lijun was there in front of her.
