Is that a Wisp?
chapter-1544-30041322

"This is the Graveyard of Gods," the lady before them said in response, watching the shock of Krune and Mon-Tu-Casha, smiling as she continued, "Basically, all the Gods that die would arrive here."

"You mean to say…" Krune hesitated before asking, "All dead Gods would be here?"

"Yes." The lady nodded before looking at Mon-Tu-Casha, expressing her surprise. "This is the first time I'm seeing a God that has the power of the keys. So, you must be capable of entering the Law Worlds, right?"

"Yes," Mon-Tu-Casha nodded in response.

"So, how did you die?" She asked in surprise, her gaze alternating between Krune and Mon-Tu-Casha. "Considering the abilities the two of you exude, it doesn't seem like you can be killed that easily."

"I think it was a Primordial Beast that had ambushed us…" Krune said, still failing to digest the fact that he had died. "We unleashed all our powers. But after that, we arrived here."

"The overseer personally had to step in to kill you?" The lady's eyes lit up in shock before she looked at Mon-Tu-Casha, muttering after a while, "Did you try to enter the Law World of a dead God?"

"I didn't yet, but when I was fighting against Krune, our powers slammed into one such world," Mon-Tu-Casha replied truthfully.

"It makes sense now." The lady nodded, sighing as she said, "Entering the Law Worlds of alive Gods isn't a concern. However, when you try to do the same to the Law Worlds of the Gods that had already died, the overseer would step in to prevent it. After all, they don't want any dead Gods to be revived through this setup."

"Why is it like that?" Mon-Tu-Casha asked in concern, for part of the reason the Mong Realm gave her the power of the Keys was to revive their dead Gods.

"See this…" the lady said, gently exerting her strength as Krune and Mon-Tu-Casha collapsed to the ground, trembling in shock. Nodding in response, she asked, looking at Mon-Tu-Casha, "In comparison to your dad, how strong am I?"

"You're at least twice as strong," Mon-Tu-Casha muttered in disbelief. "But how is this possible, though? My dad is the strongest."

She then recalled a foreign term Krune said before, asking, "What's a Primordial Beast? Are you one of these Primordial Beasts?"

"You don't know about Primordial Beasts?" The lady exclaimed in shock before looking at Krune, observing that he seemed aware of them.

She expressed her surprise at Krune after that. "Why do you know about Primordial Beasts while she doesn't?"

"The Mong Realm that she comes from probably hadn't interacted with a Primordial Beast before," Krune replied. "On the other hand, I've talked with a Kun Peng."

"Kun Peng… Kun Realm…" Mon-Tu-Casha muttered in response, her eyes lighting up as she looked at Krune, understanding the reason the Kun Realm didn't conform to the norms and had by far the most exotic of races.

"So, you're from the Kun Realm." The lady nodded in response. "I've heard about it recently."

She then looked at Mon-Tu-Casha, saying, "I'm not a Primordial Beast. If I were to tell you that I was weaker than your dad when alive, would you believe that?"

Observing the confusion on the faces of both before her, the lady introduced herself, "I'm Zoitan-Kutang, the 7th Generation God King. I believe the current Lak and Fon Realm of your Greater Universe have formed by absorbing the fragments of my Greater Realm."

"7th Generation God King?" Krune asked in shock. "Wait, how?"

"Every time a God King's strength reaches a level where they can kill a Primordial Beast, the Primordial Beast Chiefs destroy all civilizations and rebuild them from scratch. Seven such civilizations have been destroyed," she said, pointing at the two. "You're part of the 8th Generation. And based on my estimates, there's less than a century before your generation is destroyed by the Chiefs."

"Impossible!" Krune clenched his hand into a fist, muttering in disbelief, "Our Greater Realm has just begun to stabilize in an era of peace. I won't allow them to destroy my home."

"What can you do now?" Zoitan-Kutang snorted in disdain. "You're already dead. It's impossible to leave the Graveyard of Gods and return to the Greater Universe."

She continued, "Time flows faster here. One year outside is ten thousand years here. Plus, the foundation of this place is the strongest in the Greater Universe itself."

"Unlike the outside, everything that has happened to date is recorded and preserved here," she said in all seriousness. "So, this place has the strongest foundation. And it ensures that you can never leave this place. It's also due to its sheer superior foundation that we can't leave this place."

Sighing, she said, clenching her hand into a fist, "My strength has already surpassed what the Greater Universe could handle. This is the only place where I can live. This is also another restriction that prevents us from leaving this place."

"It makes sense now," Mon-Tu-Casha said all of a sudden, breaking out into a smile as she stood up, cupping her fists towards Zoitan-Kutang. "Senior, I haven't died. I'm not dead yet."

She slowly condensed a tinge of aura on her hand before causing it to vanish, watching Zoitan-Kutang's expression morph into shock.

Zoitan-Kutang said with an incredulous gaze, "Life force? You mean…you're not dead?"

"I see. That makes sense now." Krune nodded, able to sense life and death aura, having fought against Wally countless times. Wally's power revolved around life and death, and hence, Krune was able to sense that Zoitan-Kutang was composed of a dense death aura.

In contrast, Krune and Mon-Tu-Casha only sported a layer of death aura on their bodies. Their insides were brimming with life aura.

"Maybe something happened when our two powers clashed while facing that Primordial Beast," Krune said, setting aside his hatred as he looked at Mon-Tu-Casha.

The two individuals stared at one another as the air heated up due to the sheer hatred between the two. But soon after, both of them suppressed their hatred as Krune was the first to speak, barely managing to utter while swallowing a string of curses that expressed his honest thoughts.

"Let's ally until we leave this place."
