MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

chapter-1051
Algerie Kingdom, at the main defensive line.
"Haah!"
Swerving through the orcs hellbent on killing him, Hal deftly maneuvered his way through their lunges and strikes, returning their aggression with attacks of his own.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Imbuing his blade with Intent, the man attacked all of the orcs he passed by at angles the orcs weren't expecting, landing blows that immediately rendered them ineffective in battle. With that, a path of blood began to manifest in the frontlines once more, instilling fear amongst the orcs that watched Hal showcase his might as he moved closer to the leader behind the attack.
"Grx'm gragaagh!!!" Of course, having a similar level of strength to Hal, the orc leader was furious that the being it presumed as the leader of the humans had decided to move on its own accord, instead of letting those under him to fight to the death.
Nevertheless, the orc leader also took delight in that fact, considering that Hal was instead delivering himself to an early grave in front of it.
Grinning at the thought that surfaced in his mind, it did not take long for the orc leader to make a decision as it commanded all of the orcs in its surroundings to distance themselves from it, forming an arena of sorts where both it and Hal could fight without hesitation.
Whoosh!
Landing a few more deadly strikes to the orcs he passed by, Hal eventually arrived at the large opening the leader of the orcs made, slightly frowning as he realized that his plan of instilling confusion and chaos by striking the leader had failed before it could even start.
Though, seeing as the leader was slowly heading to the center of the large opening, it did not take long for Hal to put two and two together in his mind, smiling as he sheathed his blade for the meantime.'On second thought, I think this is a far better scenario than what I had in mind.'
"Human..." said the orc leader all of a sudden, trying its best to convey its thoughts through the human language. "Us... fight. Death... one. Victory."
"Sure." Already having an idea of what was going on the moment the orc leader stepped forward, Hal nodded in response to its words.
"Great." With that, the orc leader grinned in return, retrieving the large club behind its back before releasing the entirety of its aura. "Fight... start."
"Victory... mine!"
Whoosh!
Radiating a fierce combat intent, the orc leader pushed its strength to its limits as it aimed to close the gap between it and Hal.
Prepared for the orc's offensive, Hal swiftly unsheathed his blade and infused his Intent into it, striking the club as its weakest point as he put all of his strength into it.
Bang!
Unsurprisingly, a fierce gust of wind blew throughout the opening the moment the two's strikes connected, showing the great level of strength both sides wielded.
However, just as the orcs surrounding the two felt that their leader would have the advantage in terms of strength, they soon noticed that the human they thought would be at a disadvantage remained standing at its initial spot.
On the other hand, the leader they looked up to had staggered in response to the exchange. "Human..." Naturally, the orc leader did not expect such a level of strength from Hal as well, its eyes widening in surprise as it hurriedly tried to regain its balance.
Unfortunately, before it could even regain its footing, it was then that Hal decided to make his move, appearing behind the back of the orc leader amidst the confusion.
"[Intent of the Samsara Blade]."
Swinging his blade back as far as his body could handle, Hal infused his blade with as much Intent he possibly could, causing its edge to turn a murky gray as his eyes were trained on the orc leader's vital spot.
"[Blade of Six Paths]."
"[True Celestial Judgment]."
Then, without hesitation, he burst forward with all of the strength he could muster, depriving the orc leader of its vitality as havoc soon wreaked throughout the ranks of the orcs.
...
"Good work out there."
Letting out a low sigh as he returned behind the defensive line, a smile appeared on Hal's face as he saw a familiar person greet him back.
"To be honest, I had doubts that the plan would actually work," said Hal in response, using a bit of magic to remove all of the blood and grime that stuck onto his body. "After all, I wasn't expecting that one on one."
"But you pushed through in the end," replied the person with a smile, casting a few healing spells on Hal that healed up all of the wounds he received. "Thanks to you, everyone's morale has greatly improved."
"Thanks, Vera." Hal smiled in response. "You think it's possible for us to push back the orcs far enough to construct a new defensive line?"
"Probably?" replied Vera, most of her focus still on healing Hal. "Our forces are stronger than before thanks to the influx of weapons from the Blacksmith Guild, though I'm not sure if our strength is enough to push for another defensive line."
"How about if we add Valyr into the equation?" said Hal all of a sudden, causing Vera to stop for a bit as she did not expect Hal to mention such a name.
Noticing this, the man went ahead and explained the conversation he had with Valyr some time ago, talking about how Valyr was planning to have a meeting with the directors of the Blacksmith Guild involving the mass production of a couple things.
"He plans on introducing the weapon he showed us in the inheritance to the frontlines," said Hal at the end of his explanation.
Smiling, he then continued, "Now, if a weapon like that were to be given en masse to those at the frontlines, do you think it'd be possible for us to push our defensive line even deeper?"
"I wouldn't even be surprised if we could push the entire defensive line forward with that kind of combat power," replied Vera with a wry smile, recalling the pure firepower the arquebus Valyr made while they were in the inheritance.
"In any case, I'm glad Valyr was finally able to leave the inheritance. From the looks of it, he gained the most out of all of us in that place."
Hal nodded in agreement. "Though we haven't really interacted with him that much, I have a strong feeling he'll use that knowledge to contribute to the war."
"Then again, with his strength, I wouldn't be surprised if he were to participate in the war
efforts directly."
"True... True."
"...Alright, then. Shall we prepare for the next mission?"
