I slowly released my breath and stopped.

My whole body shook and threatened to fall, but I controlled myself and slowly sat down, careful not to slip under my own sweat.

I sat down and closed my eyes before starting to take a deep breath.

Till two and a half months ago, it was extremely hard to do this. The moment I finished with Danse of Uksanavor, I would simply fall and fall into sleep.

Now, I am just very tired.

I am also feeling very sleepy, but the feeling is controllable.

I had worked hard to achieve that; I couldn't simply fall into sleep, after the practice. It may be fine in the organization, but when I am outside, I can't let myself be unguarded.

Especially when there are no Ashlyn and Nero, whom I trusted with my life.

After more than ten minutes, I felt good enough that I got up and walked toward the shower. Once I was done with it, I went to the kitchen and started to cook myself a lunch.

It had been a week since I had made a breakthrough and updated my strength record the same day.

Since then, I have been searching for suitable missions.

I didn't find the one, I liked, but I kept a few in the bucket, and if I don't find anything interesting in the next three days; I am going to choose one from the list.

An hour passed, and I finished making the lunch. I took it to my usual place and began to eat.

I have a lot of things to do today. I had already finished with the practice and in three hours, I would go to the alchemy hall.

Till then, I am free to do what I want.

I will be studying and working on the inheritance.

I started on the new upgrade, the same day, I finished with the breakthrough. There is no use in wasting time when it comes to inheritance.

Soon, I finished the lunch and laid back, while opening the interface and looking at the missions. I had checked the missions in the morning, but more have come.

Hun!

I looked at it and found nothing interesting and was about to close it when another mission appeared.

Reading it, my eyes couldn't light up on the job. It is a grade mission, that requires Earth Sovereigns and Sky Sovereigns.

There is no information about it other than saying, it will be dangerous and all that. Such kinds of missions are rarely provided with any information.

I was about to click on it when I read the last line and I wanted to curse, but I simply closed the window.

It was an invitation-only mission. This means that only those invited could do it and nobody else. If that is the case, then why do those bastards, put it on the mission board?

Ting!

I took a deep breath to calm myself and was about to close my eyes to enter my core when my badge rang out in a notification.

I opened it and when I read it; a big smile couldn't help but appear on my face.

It was mail from the mission office, and it was about the same mission I had seen a few seconds ago. They have asked me if I am interested in it and there will be an interview it evening.

If I passed, I would be selected for the mission.

The test is in the evening and after reading the mail several times. I clicked on the button and closed the window.

The mail also didn't have much information about the mission, aside from the generic stuff. I might know more if I passed the test and was selected for the mission.

I didn't much think about it after closing the window, and entering my core.

There, I worked on my inheritance, before having a lesson with the teacher and then studying the runes and doing the homework.

Before I knew it, two hours passed.

I opened my eyes and changed my body and persona. I use my original face for healing only and even there; I use a different face when I am checking the Earth-Sovereigns for the breakthrough.

I have a different face for alchemy, artifice, and culinary.

Even though I am not being this cautious, the organization has asked me to do it. The only reason I could think of, likely because of the cultist, that captured me.

I still didn't know much about them, but they had some power or they wouldn't have asked to be cautious.

I spent six hours in alchemy before going directly to the interview. It took longer than I had thought, as I returned home at midnight.

I freshened up, had dinner, and worked for two more hours, before finally sleeping.

Hun!

When I woke up, there was mail waiting for me.

"Yes!" I said loudly in joy.

I had been selected, and it is good that I did because I would have become quite mad if I hadn't. Those people had asked about all things, made me do something, that got me a little uncomfortable, before testing my strength.

I didn't show all my strength, just 70% of it.

Which is far more than, what I had fought within the realm.

The mail said, the mission will start in two days, but I will be briefed tomorrow about it. It kind of sounds very important. I couldn't help but feel excited about it.

It took me a minute to control my emotions, and I went to the bathroom to freshen up. Once that was done, I ate breakfast and started with the Talaras Constitution.

Hours passed and, in the afternoon, I went to the healing department, where I checked a large number of Earth Sovereigns for their eligibility to make the breakthrough.

They had never sent so many people before. It is more than three times as usual.

The only reason I could think of is the mission. It seemed like, it won't be the short one.
