"Mars," I said. "Ryntar," said the stoneman, in front of me.

He is a young looking stoneskin man with soft obsidian skin and a handsome face in a boyish way. He is also very powerful; I don't think, I will be able to defeat him easily. If I fought against him.

I also wore the young persona, with blue skin and big eyes blue eyes. There are shining freckles around my body, that radiate gentle light, if I willed it.

I have become quite good at physical transformation with the aid of alchemy. The alchemy alone isn't enough. The main factor is my knowledge of physiology and the eight different methods I use.

I got information about him yesterday, like he did about me. We will be partners for the mission.

As for what the mission is; it is to destroy the organization.

A very rare type of mission. They came a few like these appear and I am quite lucky to be part of one.

"It's our turn," said Rynter, and a moment later, we appeared on the dick.

Buzz!

The disk buzzed, and a second later everything went dark. It remained dark for several seconds, before turning brighter.

We found ourselves above the grove and landed on the ground quickly.

Our real power is Earth-Sovereign, but we are disguising ourselves as Primary-III. Our destination is Wilter City, the headquarters of the Alna Var Organization.

It is an earth-grade organization, but our intelligence states that there are at least, nine Sky Sovereigns in there. Our job is to reach the city and wait for the signal to attack; as for when it will be, we don't know.

"It will take us a little over two days to reach our destination," said Rynter, "Then we, should start the journey as soon as possible," I replied.

He smiled before we started to move toward the wilter city. A journey which shouldn't take more than a few hours with our power, going to take over two days, not that any of us mind.

We moved through the galvi forest, with our Primary-III speed, but not even Sovereign monsters could discover us when we passed by them.

"Does such cautious approach be common in a mission like this?" I asked Rynter. I mean, it feels too cautious. With our powers, we could get close to the wilter city, without being discovered.

"We are dealing with cultists here. Those bastards are skittish and cautious. We needed to be more than them to not get discovered."

"If they got to know about it before we even started, then the whole mission would fail," he replied, and I nodded.

I didn't say much further and continued traveling at snail's speed.

As at such a slow speed, I only need to use a fraction of my soul to maintain the speed and stealth, while the rest of me is in the library working.

I may be using a fraction of my soul power, but even with that fraction, I am sending out the faint soul waves. Its data is flashing in front of me; if I noticed someone truly powerful, I would quickly take control of the body.

In the core, I have the advantage of time dilation and would be able to react without any delay.

Soon it was dark, and we continued moving.

We only stopped at ten to eat dinner before moving again.

Hun!

It was around midnight when the projection in front of me flashed and I opened my eyes.

'There is Sky Sovereign coming behind us,' I informed my partner and he barely reacted, but I could feel a faint shudder.

We both are powerful, but still not enough to survive against the Sky Sovereign. If it attacked us, there was nothing we would be able to do it.

'Is it from the list?' he asked after a moment of silence, and I nodded gently.

They have given us the list of Earth-Sovereign and Sky Sovereigns. This one coming at us was part of that list.

He is a lightning element powerhouse at the initial level of Sky Sovereign.

Rynter didn't say anything further, nor did I tell him anymore. We kept moving with no change despite the Sky Sovereigns coming behind.

The Sky Sovereigns also didn't seem to be interested in the ants like us either. It is itself hiding tightly with stealth. It isn't bringing out its soul sense and only looking out through its eyes.

Which is not surprising; this one wasn't supposed to be here. Hell, he is supposed to be on a different continent, but he is here.

The organization is destroying is destroying a branch of the powerful cult. So, we have been asking to be ready for anything when we attack.

Soon, the Sky Sovereign reached close, now above us, in a mile and a half left and looking at us.

It is taking all my willpower not to look back at it. I controlled my mind with everything, and I moved, while talking softly with Rynter, as if I hadn't discovered him at all.

Let's hope he didn't discover us because he won't need more than a move to kill us if he wants to.

It looked at us for a two and half seconds before focusing on the other people. We are not the only ones here; there are many people, with the strongest being Peak Sovereign.

"We are out of its range," I said after a few minutes, and could see Rynter visibly relaxing.

I, too, let go of the tension that I had been holding in my body.

"Fuck, I had not thought. We would come across a Sky Sovereign, before reaching close to the city," he said. "We were a little unlucky in that, but it is now," I said and he smiled.

Soon the morning came and except for lunch, we didn't stop for anything and kept moving and stopping only at night for dinner.

The dawn came, and we didn't stop.

Six hours passed, and we have finally stopped, as we saw the silhouette of wilter come into the view.
