"There!" Gale shouted as she dusted off her hands. On the ground below her bound and gagged was an old man moving around like a fish out of water.

Rain only looked on with a warm smile on her face. Everyone's love was different and showed it in different ways. "So Gale… How do I learn from an old man tied up and gagged?"

"Ah!" Gale seemed to have forgotten why she came. She had been so proud of her work that she had forgotten her original goal! "Ahem..." Waving her hand, the old man was untied and ungagged. "Old man, you need to teach her how to use space and time magic."

"Oh?" The old man got up and dusted himself off as if what had just happened didn't even phase him and took out a pair of glasses and put them on. He stroked his beard and gave Rain a good once over. "Hmmmm… Hmmmm…. HMMMMmmmmm… Ouch! Why did you hit me!?"

"Get on with it!" Gale yelled as she pulled her little fist back. The old man held his nose looking pitiful. Rain turned her head, trying to hold in her laughter.

"Humph! How can I teach anyone if I do not know them!? Did you introduce me!?" The old man humphed and turned his head away like a spoiled child.

"Fine!" Gale snorted before saying: "This old pervert with a fairy fetish is my husband, Doulf. He may not seem it, but his prowess with time and space can match that of the god of time and space." After saying this, she turned and looked at the old man and said: "Old pervert, this is Rain, my disciple and the only one to actually undergo the spirit transformation."

"What!? You had her undergo that baptism!?" Doulf looked at Rain with a new light. "To think someone survived that… But wait, Gale, you said you would never allow anyone to attempt that spell again!"

"That old bastard, the god of creation, requested it… I had no choice. But if she was recommended by that man, it meant she would be able to take it. Besides me and two others, she is the fourth to survive." Gale replied. Her words made Rain's face go slightly pale.

"Oh? Him huh? Humph! He just sits up there in Eden drinking tea. To think he was actually doing something for once. This little girl is not half bad. Her affinity with space and time is higher than mine by many times…. Hmm, I see why you brought her to see me. Gale, this girl will be entering the realm of spirits, correct?" Doulf asked.

"Yeah. I do not want her to be stuck fighting the god of time and space without being able to surpass him. He is the only one who will truly be a threat to her as she works to become the Spirit Empress." Gale explained.

"Spirit Empress, huh? If she is really able to pass the trial, she will be the first. " Doulf stroked his beard and looked Rain over once more. "Alright. You will stay here and learn from me. But just know this will not be easy. If you wish to grow strong, you will need to endure and train. Space and time is not something you can learn by reading some book. You must feel it and experience it for yourself. So… without further ado. Off you go!"

Before Rain could even speak, she felt the ground underneath her disappear, and she fell into a black hole. "You old bastard, where did you send her!?"

"You wanted me to make her stronger than that god of time and space, right? This is the only way. She will need to break out of that place on her own. If she can do that, she will be stronger than him. But for now, I need to rest..." Doulf's whole body began to grow older and older, causing Gale to begin to freak out. "Doulf!?"

Gale floated in front of him and touched his face. "Doulf what happened!? How did you become like this!?"

"In order to open a gate to that place for that girl to train, I had to use a great deal of my life force. I will be fine with much rest. But I will not be able to move for a long time. Space and time are not things one can learn from others. The concept of space and time are something that needs to be learned on one's own. The place she was sent to is the key to time and space. Only me and the god of time and space can open a gate to it, and even then, it is only big enough to peek into it without destroying ourselves. The power needed to actually open a gate there is beyond anything I could do. So I had no choice." Doulf answered.

"But why!? Why would you do that!?" Gale had tears in her eyes. No matter how much he annoyed her. She still loved her husband.

"Because you asked me to help her." Doulf gave a weak smile as he said this. He would do anything for his wife.

"You idiot!" Gale waved her hand, causing Doulf's body to float in the air, and brought him into his home. She quickly prepared his bed and laid him down in it. "I will stay here and take care of you. You are not allowed to die on me yet."

"I wish I had advanced to Aurora way before I turned old. Then you wouldn't have had to look at this old man." Doulf sighed as he closed his eyes. "I need to rest a bit. If that little girl makes it out, ask her to reverse time for me. Maybe then I can be young again like you."

Gale bit her lip as she looked at the old man sleeping peacefully on the bed. She went over and checked his pulse. Once she found it was still fine, she let out a sigh of relief. She flew over to the pillow Doulf's head was lying on and sat down on it and leaned against his forehead. "You rest well… I will be by your side no matter how long it takes."
