Chapter 626: Lu Xuan is actually at the Divine Transformation Realm?

One line said, “the difference between one person to another, could be greater than that between humans and pigs.”

At that moment, nobody understood that line better than Great Ancestor Zhang Cheng and Great Ancestor Shen Jian.

Great Ancestor Zhang Cheng said in a baffled manner, “If we were to win by using Yan Han, we would probably have to surrender ourselves to him just so he’ll spare our sects.”

At that moment, he knew just how ridiculous their way of thinking had been mere moments ago.

They thought that they would be able to help Lu Xuan kill Yan Han, possibly even when the latter was taken by surprise.

Only then did they realize that their thoughts were little more than delusions. Had it not been for Lu Xuan covering for them, they would have probably died from that one single thrust of Yan Han’s spear.

Despite both of them being at Divine Transformation Realm, they seemed like entirely different beings altogether. As Divine Transformation Realm beings, they could not have been any more different from one another.

“You dodged it?” Yan Han was rather dumbfounded. That one thrust looked unassuming; it was simply a thrust that was fast, accurate, and brutal, Nevertheless, it was still one of his most lethal moves. In martial arts, the most important thing was having superior speed. At his level of training, just being faster than the other guy was enough to invoke power.

Even then, Lu Xuan managed to evade the attack just in time.

“Looks like you’re pretty nimble, then. What happened to that thunder skills of yours? You’re not planning on using it?” Yan Han pulled his spear back and wore a sarcastic expression.

It was obvious that he never considered Lu Xuan to have been worth his time. He behaved as if he was a cat and Lu Xuan was a rat. He deemed all of Lu Xuan’s attempts to struggle utterly futile.

The man was simply delaying the inevitable.

“No worries, you’ll see it at work soon enough.”

Yan Han watched as Lu Xuan began to slowly rise into the air. Lu Xuan placed his hands behind his back, apparently not taking anything that just happened seriously.

He had been fighting throughout his life and lived through many perilous moments. He was far from fazed by what just happened.

“As someone half a step into the Divine Transformation Realm, I must say that you performed so well that even I hadn’t been able to fight you back then. Then again, it’s all pointless now. Now that I’ve broken into Divine Transformation Realm, however, you don’t stand a chance against me at all.”

Yan Han chuckled sinisterly as if he enjoyed toying with Lu Xuan.

“I’ll send you on your way now. Soon, you will see just how different we are.”

Yan Han’s aura immediately burst, displaying his towering might. He looked as if he was the supreme being in that space he occupied. A bloody sun gradually rose behind him as well.

That dazzling sun instantly scorched the ground beneath it, making everyone around feel a terrifying pressure being placed on them at once.

That was the might of a primordial spirit of someone at Divine Transformation Realm looming over everyone else. The only way for one to resist the pressure coming from a primordial spirit was to have a primordial spirit of their own. None of them had primordial spirits, and the still dormant spirits within them were not powerful enough to resist that might. This caused them to flee even further.

Nobody could blame them for doing so; even the two great ancestors at Divine Transformation Realm, who both had their own primordial spirits, now found it very difficult to resist the pressure. Lu Xuan once broke their primordial spirits, then Yan Han injured them as well. They were in a dangerous situation; it was as if they were flickering flames trying to resist the wind.

“Kill him!”

Yan Han made his move again, this time even more terrifying. Despite being a single person, he was as powerful as armies numbering in tens of thousands. That bloody sun loomed over everything in the sky, scorching the ground below. The territory that the sunlight touched currently belonged to him.

He was the one true god of that area.

It would have been extremely difficult for someone without a primordial spirit to resist that bloody sun that remained behind Yan Han.

Boom!

His spear instantly arrived right before Lu Xuan. A deafening rumble reverberated throughout the sky. Lu Xuan acted as if he was completely stunned, unable to move at all.

Yan Han wore a smug look on his face. It was completely normal for something like this to happen. It did not matter how hard Lu Xuan tried to move. Under the primordial spirit’s suppression, he would have acted as if he was caught in quicksand; it was impossible for him to move even if he tried.

Clang!

A metallic clang rang out. Just when that thrust was about to penetrate Lu Xuan, the latter somehow managed to blast a blood-colored dragon at Yan Han with his fist. The counterattack blasted upon impact with the incoming attack.

The loud ringing sound of metals rang out. Lu Xuan’s punch seemed like it came from a metal fist that was incredibly resilient.

Yan Han shouted in fright, “How is this possible? You could actually move! How could you move like that before my bloody sun! This is absurd!”

“What’s so absurd about it, Yan Han? Do you seriously think that you’re the only one who made it into the Divine Transformation Realm?” Lu Xuan shouted. Just then, everyone saw that a roaring golden dragon rose behind Lu Xuan underneath the light of the bloody sun.

It was that golden dragon that stopped the bloody sun. That boundless light from the sun was blocked by the dragon.

One person gasped in fright, “The Divine Transformation Realm… Lu Xuan is actually at the Divine Transformation Realm!”

Those words snapped the rest back to their senses. Both Great Ancestor Zhang Cheng and Great Ancestor Shen Jian were especially shocked, before laughing bitterly.

They finally realized the reason why Lu Xuan could have beaten them so easily, as well as why they were so utterly helpless against him.

Lu Xuan was fully capable of fending off the pressure coming from their primordial spirits. They expected him to rely on some power item that he had on him instead.

He was at the Divine Transformation Realm from the beginning. Given that he was in the same realm as them, there was no wonder why he was able to beat them.

That was probably the only comfort they found in their respective predicaments.

If Lu Xuan had not been so cornered by Yan Han, nobody would’ve probably realized that Lu Xuan had secretly made a breakthrough into Divine Transformation Realm.

Then again, everyone seemed to be sure that Lu Xuan made a breakthrough into Divine Transformation Realm.

At the very least, his ability to resist and even kill Yan Han was considerably heightened. It would at least prevent Yan Han from becoming the overlord that would cast the world into his dark reign.

“You’re at the Divine Transformation Realm, too!”

A tinge of shock was seen in Yan Han’s eyes. It was then that he realized why Lu Xuan had been unfazed all along: that other man still had a trump card up his sleeve the whole time.

That was Lu Xuan’s true trump card.

Lu Xuan said nothing other than shouting out a single word: “Kill!”

He clenched his fist. The power of his punch had been condensed into a golden dragon, clashing right away with Yan Han’s spear.

The heavens shook as both of them clashed. Metallic clangs continued to ring out. Everyone watched with their mouths agape, feeling a chill running all over their bodies as they looked on in awe.

The spear in Yan Han’s hand was at the spiritual weapon level. It was formidable enough to pierce through conventional spiritual weapons, yet it failed to penetrate Lu Xuan’s fist.

The clash between both parties was like the clash between two planets; it was so absolutely shocking that it sent all who were watching into a frenzy.
