Friday, August 3rd, 2046
Castle of Khione, Iceland
The morning light peered through the curtains, illuminating the room, and making the two beautiful hues of Amethyst and Silver Auras shimmer more tantalisingly.
On the bed, slept a handsome young man, and in his arms was an extremely beautiful girl, who had a smile on her face as she slept soundly and comfortably in his embrace.
There was a slight movement under the eyelids of the man before he slowly opened his hauntingly beautiful Amethyst eyes, and immediately, a smile crossed his lips when he realised how tightly his dear daughter was hugging him to sleep. He had to suppress his laughter when he recalled what happened last night as he did not want to disturb her rest.
After dinner, last night, as always, Alana tried to get him in bed with her under the guise of musical lessons, but she was met with an unexpected answer.
"Master has something important to attend to later," Minami informed everyone, making them curious, but none of them raised any questions about it.
Keith, who was not aware he had anything important planned, simply nodded his head, confirming Minami's words.
It was only after the two arrived in their room and his dear daughter asked him if she could sleep with him tonight, did he realise what she wanted, and he happily took her to bed with him.
There, the two of them read a story together, and then Minami kissed him on his lips before hugging him to sleep.
She wanted to sleep alone with him in bed. They had slept together several times during these months, but Ingvild was always there with them. However, this night, she wanted him all to herself, and he found it quite cute that she had decided to act on her desire. Not willing to disturb her rest, Keith telekinetically picked up his phone and checked the messages he had been expecting.
Today was the day they were going to leave this Castle and return to Netheria, and he had made all the arrangements for Roy, who was going to study at a boarding school in Edinburgh, Scotland.
It was where the Child of Destiny was going to meet the love of his life and where the Plan of Destiny that Keith had read would begin.
After going through all the messages and emails, Keith put the phone aside and closed his eyes to circulate his Aura. By the time he finished the third circulation, Minami had woken up, and she was curiously looking at his profile.
Keith smiled as he opened his eyes and met her Amethyst orbs, and then they both reached forward and kissed, enjoying each other's taste.
"Slept well?" He asked, and his dear daughter nodded her head with a bright smile before kissing him again.
At the breakfast table, Ingvild curiously looked between him and Minami, and it was only after Minami knocked on her head, which made her wince, did she put her unvoiced, silly thoughts aside.
Diana joined them late at the table, and then everyone silently ate their meal.
Roy and Harud were unusually quiet today, and Fiona's eyes were vacant as she stirred her soup.
"Eat," The sudden voice that rang in their ears jolted them out of their thoughts, and Harud smiled at Keith before he focused on his meal.
Roy and Fiona felt better too, and then the Child of Destiny excused himself away after he finished eating.
His mother was about to go after him when Diana caught her hand and shook her head.
"Finish your meal first."
She felt a little conflicted but she still finished eating, and then she finally excused herself away to go see her child.
"Can't he stay?"
Keith smiled at his grandmother's question and just shook his head, not explaining himself.
Diana sighed at her response and then stayed at the table even after finishing her meal, chatting with Minami and Ingvild.
"So, when are you going to teach me your language?" Keith asked after Diana brought up the subject, and the three ladies smiled at him.
"After we return home," Ingvild told him.
"Why did you guys have to make it so hard..."
"Alana!" The little Carmilla Princess cut her friend off from saying anything more, and Keith chuckled as the girls started with their own discussions.
As soon as he finished his meal, he sensed a new presence inside the Castle, and he frowned a little.
"Excuse me." He left the table and headed towards the top of the Central Tower, and as soon as he arrived there, he found a tall lady dressed in black, standing at the edge and gazing into the distance.
"Good morning, Lady Nyx."
"Lord Keith." She called out his name in a greeting and then waited for him to stand by her side before she turned to look at him. "The Inheritor of Rugulu seems quite attached to you."
Of course, she could tell.
Keith smiled at her words and nodded his head.
"He's a good kid."
"Rugulu, the Wandering God of Wealth, was loyal and filial to those he respected and to those who had helped him on his journey. His True Inheritor was bound to possess those traits." She informed him. "His System will awaken soon." She meaningfully said and smiled when she saw him neither confirm nor show any surprise at her words.
"So, I possess Lord Erebus' traits?" He smiled back at her, changing the subject, and Leilah's smile brightened at his words.
"You are special, Lord Keith. Rugulu, however, asked the Divine Laws to only pass his Legacy to the one who will be just like him. Roy is just like him."
"I see." Keith nodded and looked into her dark eyes. "What can I do for you?" He asked.
"It will be just as much for you as it would be for me." She nodded to him, confirming his guess that she was there to ask him to do something for her.
"Yes?" He curiously looked at her.
"Qin Rouxi."
Keith kept looking into her eyes after her words, and silence reigned between the two of them.
"Do you know how Fate and Destiny work, Lord Keith?" She asked.
"Please, enlighten me."
"Fate is a Divine Law without which nothing can come into existence or even taste Death. Without it, life is not possible. Fate is the road, the journey." She meaningfully said, knowing well that he already understood it. "And Destiny makes life function, and to achieve it, it favours some, but not without reason, and deprives some people of the blessings, again, not without reason, but ultimately, it balances things out. Your Destiny is the destination of your Fate."
"I understand." He nodded his head.
"However, Destiny is not all Knowing. It is linked to Fate, and it can only know what Fate allows it to know, and when Destiny makes a Plan for someone it favours, it links their Fate to someone whose Fate is just as strong."
Keith frowned at her words, understanding that she was not talking about the Divine Laws since all Divine Laws were connected and nothing could be hidden from them.
"Therefore, its Plans for someone like you are never meant to work out, and its Plans for those linked to you by the Divine Laws are never meant to work out either."
"I am aware." He nodded to her again.
"I know." She smiled. "Destiny has made a foolish Plan for Qin Rouxi, even though she is also its Favoured Child, and I don't like those Plans."
"Is that so?" He chuckled at her words and then curiously looked into her eyes.
Her words ascertained his guess that she could read the Plans of Destiny, and it truly made him wonder how powerful she had become. He was certain in his heart that she had far surpassed her parents.
And he was not surprised to learn that Qin Rouxi was also a Child of Destiny because he was already aware of it. She was a lot like Amelia, and never was she ever dependent on Qin Feng in the Plan of Destiny he had read.
"She's special to you?"
"Yes."
"Why?" He asked, not really expecting to receive an answer.
"Because she is Nuwa's True Inheritor, and Nuwa was dear to me."
However, she did answer his question, and he was surprised to learn what she had told him.
He recalled the Plans of Destiny he had read, and there was no mention of such a detail. Then again, there was not much about Nyx in them.
"She was just as dear to me as Hecate was."
"You want me to take her?"
"Oh, I know you would take her." She smiled, making him sigh in his heart. "After all, she belongs to you." He frowned at her words, now beginning to feel a little restless.
"Then what?"
"I came here to ask if you plan on seeing her anytime soon."
Keith did not know why he was feeling restless, but he quickly managed to understand why she was here to see him.
"You are going to take her away."
Leilah looked into his eyes and smiled.
Unbeknownst to him, his eyes were of their true Amethyst Shade right now, and there were hints of coldness in them.
"Why would I take someone away from you?" She asked, but he kept looking into her eyes. "But yes, I am going to send her away as I need her to do something for me."
Silence reigned between them again, and Keith frowned some more at her words.
"Go, be with her. Help her awaken her powers. It will be a while before the two of you will be able to see each other again. Or you can choose to not meet her right now, and you can see her and the other one in the Heaven Realm. I will awaken her powers and send her away if that is your choice."
"Is it necessary?"
"Yes." She nodded to him, giving him time to contemplate everything.
"Why was Nuwa dear to you?" He asked the question, having made up his mind.
"The Fourth Order was not the only Order I created." Leilah lightly said. "I am also known as Wuji, the Monarch of Light and Darkness."
To say that Keith was shocked was an understatement. Perhaps, he had never been as shocked in his life as he was right now, and he even did not bother hiding his surprise from her eyes.
"You are the Goddess of Infinity." It was not a question, and Leilah only smiled at his words, not denying them.
"I created the Tian Patheon, the Eighth Order, together with Yudi, Marici, Pangu, and Yan. And I was the one who bestowed Nuwa her Divinities." She informed him.
"I will go see her," He told her, "but we both know that it would result in 'Destiny' changing its plans, and there could be consequences."
"I understand." She smiled. "And I know you don't care about them."
"I wanted to spend some time in peace." He sighed, and Leilah giggled at his words.
"Would this fix your mood?"
He suddenly heard her ask, and when he raised his head, he found her holding something in her hand and offering it to him.
And it was something he wanted and needed.
